Rio 3 Day – 2 Night Extension
Rio de Janeiro – The Cultural Pulse of Brazil, steeped with influence and decadence of the once Capital of Brazil, Rio is the city where everything and anything goes. From the Worlds Largest Metropolitan Ecological Reserve to the smooth flowing and exotic bohemian nightlife, this is the city which has left millions passionate about her. Upon arrival you will be met by your guide who will take you directly to your hotel.
Day 1 Arrival in Rio de Janeiro – (transfer from airport, bus station) – you are brought to your well located and comfortable hotel in Rio´s South Side. You will be met by your guide who will tell you about Rio and explain the activities of the next days. Continental Breakfasts will be served. All other Meals are not included.
After getting comfortable – put on your bathing suit and hit the beach, there are several – each with it’s own special characteristics and demographics, we suggest an cultural integration on the famous beaches of Copacabana – Ipanema – Leblon. Late afternoon is for enjoying Ipanema, a laptop drink and join the Brazilians with their ceremony of clapping for the sunset.
19:00 onwards – experience Rio – the sensational cuisine, charms of the people and the nightlife.
Day 2 Awaken to the vibrant beachlife – take a dive in the sea before being picked up by your guide for an exciting day of discovering Rio de Janeiro. This tour will take you to the famous sights Corcovado (the Christ Statue) while allowing you to experience the Real Rio – Historical Downtown, the Bohemian Quarter (Santa Teresa), Street Car, Don’t worry we’ll have you back in good time to enjoy the possibility of another dive into the cool refreshing waters of the famous beaches with the well tanned and finely shaped human specimens.
Night will be for relaxing and / or if wanted you will be brought to Lapa, the center of Carioca (Rio de Janeiro) Nightlife.
Day 3 Departure from Rio – enjoy your last hours in Rio going to the local shops and purchasing souvenirs or enjoy the beaches in a last farewell to this Cidade Maravilhosa!!!!
12:00 Check out and transfer Paraty, Airport or Bus Station.

Paraty 3 Day – 2 Night Extension
Discover the Real Paraty. From the Historical allures and natural wonders to cultural events and exclusive tours, Paraty offers the best of Brazil all in a safe, exciting and enchanting atmosphere. Paraty was during the 1600’s the Commerce capital of Brazil due to the influential trade of Gold, Sugar, Coffee and of course the famous distilleries. Paraty is a UNESCO World Heritage historical centre. This extension has an English speaking guide for all activities.
Day 1 - Arrival in Paraty (either transfer from Rio or drop-off from Tocorimé). You will be brought to a traditional relaxing and service friendly Pousada (hotel) During your stay delightful Brazilian Full Course Breakfasts will be served. All other Meals are not included.
14:00 – 18:00 Historical Tour of Paraty Village. (Paraty by Bike) Visiting Interesting Historical locations and entrance into the Casa de Cultura. We will also stop by the wonderful local beaches for cooling off and relaxation.
18:00 – 20:00 Arrival at Hotel for Freshening Up & Dinner (your choice) in Town
20:00 onwards – discovering Paraty by Night.
Day 2 – 10:30 – 17:00 Two Options;
- Gold Trail Option – A Historical rich and environmentally exclusive trail which was formed in the 1600’s for the Gold Rush era. Today enveloped in the Atlantic Rain-Forest this trail serves as a reminder of the history and hardships of the long gone age.
- Waterfall & Historical Brazilian Distilleries Option – Enjoy the Natural Wonders of the Atlantic Rainforest with dense jungle like atmosphere and the amazing waterfalls and freshwater pools. Also experience first-hand how the Brazilian National Drink – Cachasa (or Pinga) is distilled.
Night – possibilities to see local cultural shows – fairs – festivals such as Capoeira, Festival de Cacasha, Culinary festivals, Religious Festivals, Teatro de Bonecas, Cobble Stone Street Presentations or just sit back and relax letting the ebb and flow of the tide which invades the village every day take you away in thought.
Day 3 Enjoy the remaining hours in Paraty by walking through the town and picking up special souvenirs or have a cup of Brazilian Coffee – Cafezinho before your check-out.
12:00 Check out and transfer to the Tall Ship Tocorimé - Rio, São Paulo.
